Good morning from South Jersey - I know Keith kicked off this thread with his Charlotte post so I figured to try to drum up some more viewers for the .90 site Keith & I would handle the duties for the LODRS at Cecil County. We haven't left the house just yet as some of us had to work till 12:30 but, the gang will be leaving in about an hour for the quick 60 mile trip down to Rising Sun, Md.

I will try to do my best to get pictures and give you a ride along with what's going on at the track. Of course you can follow along on D1TV as this is a Fri-Sat event....seems to be the HOT TOPIC of this only being a 2 day event over the past week or so. So prob 2 qualifiers and Top 8 tomorrow and right into eliminations on Saturday morning. It looks to be a HOT ONE as the high on Saturday I am seeing is around 93-94 but, looks to be cooling down for MG next weekend.

Some of you may not know but I have been at five races this year and been in the finals 3 times, all without a win! so I took my street/strip car to US 13 Dragway last Saturday to make amends and yes I did finally pull out a win! look at that really big check I got!!!!! Lmao
anyway, hopefully that runner-up monkey is now officially off my back

Got here around 2:30pm while testing was going on. Can say the car counts look a little down for this weekend as a lot of open spaces over on the hot side on the asphalt and some spots still open on the grass side. I’d say about 30-40 cars took place in the T&T today from Alky to Stk/SS to .90, it was a mix of all.

Another beautiful morning at Cecil county raceway it looks like we’re going into the upper 80s today partly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and like Rob said I rode around a little with a few friends last night and the place isn’t very well attended so we’ll see if they came in overnight or this morning but as of right now not too great a turn out.
It was however great to see my Canadian friends back I have at least five of them parked over here with me and they all seem happy to be back racing!!! And if we thought our diesel prices were bad they told me there’s equals out to about nine dollars a gallon US.
