Prayers for Bob Lambeck

I have been informed that Bob Lambeck is in the hospital in the ICU.

Asking the ClassRacer community to lift Bob in your prayers.

Met Bob about 8 years ago, showed me around his shop when i was out in CA. he is a great guy.

I just talked to him last Thursday. He called to wish me Happy Birthday. We talked about racing this year, and lots of stories from his past. I have known him for over 10 years but finally got to meet him in person a few years ago,and gave me a tour of his shop in California. He is an absolute wealth of knowledge and a genuinely nice guy. Never BS'd me and if I was doing something with my car he didn't like he would be sure to tell me. LOL. I hope I get to have more conversations with him as I really enjoy them.

Get well soon Bob. I met Bob in 2019 ,made the trip out west by myself,raced at Vegas and Pomona. When I got to Pomona Bob came up to me in the lanes and started talking to me like we were old friends, I always appreciated that.

Bob never met a stranger. I met Bob around 1966 in Los Angeles at the drag strips in the area as we both had Chevy's. Come to find out he worked in the parts dept at a Buick dealer (Cummings ?), where I called occasionally for parts from the garage I worked at in Culver City. We would meet for lunch sometimes at "Ketchie's" sandwich stand. (meaningful only to WLA folks). I left LA in 1970 but Bob has called me on many birthdays to catchup. I am praying hard for Bob and his family that God's will is done as this is in his hands. This world needs MANY more people like Bob.

Just to let the ClassRacer community that Bob passed away earlier today.
