Has anyone tried the 780 vacuum carb that Quick Fuel has approved for S/SS? I looked at one at Columbus and was wondering if I should give it a try. The price is very reasonable.

I cant tell you how good the 780 is, but if its anything like the 1150 they did for me ,you'll like the results.
I put a carb on that was done by their custom shop this year, and itis absolutly the best carb I've ever run. .....The fuel curve was spot on right out of the box. Most of the people at Quickfuel came from Holley, and they are better at what they do than any of the "modifiers" that I've delt with in the past. My .02 ..............Tom

It's a good carburetor. And yes, Jimmy Bridges used it to set the records in SS/C at Bowling Green, the conditions were far from conducive to record setting.
