I believe it has the Alf Weibe suspension.

I'm curious to know how a pair of bolt-in ladder bars and a wishbone was made legal by the NHRA?

Sure it's bolt-on, but far from stock suspension in terms of looks and more importantly function.

Rulebook says "bolt on" is legal.
In my opinion, looks and function are subjective and have no place in the conversation.

No different to a leaf spring car having the Calvert system or a traction bar bolted on.
By the way, there is no wishbone.

Coming from my purist vantage point function is the most vital reason IMO.

I can show pics where one of the earlier versions had a bolt-in wishbone where the upper arms were.
