I believe a 302 Camaro can run E/S or SS/I. am not sure on the mustang. The Mustang is a little heavier car, so it probably moved back one class.

Thanks for the correction RE: the C/SA 340 6-pack E-Body cars. I moved away from California (where I used to watch Gene Buell race a lot), in 2004, and wasn't aware of the advances made in power production with the 3 X 2-bbl 340s... didn't know they'd gotten horsepower.
