Angry Re: Polyurethane Transmission Mount

I ran a polyurathane mount and it cost me over $1,500
to fix all the broken parts that it caused. The trans case
was junk the drive shaft was trash too. No it wasn't from no flex.
The mount totally came apart the rubber didn't stick to the metal.
That's my experience and unless someone guarantees is wont
happen again I will stick to a stock mount.

Default Re: Polyurethane Transmission Mount

I agree with Mike Gray. I have owned two 2x3 chassis framed cars and have run steel motor/mid plates and SOLID trans mounts in both cars and have never cracked a case. The new/old SS'er back halve has a poly mount due to not having enough chassis stiffness.
