Your only problem is with the fact that someone from the middle east is footing the bill. So you obviously have some sort of racial bias toward people from that part of the world.

Qatar happens to be an ALLY of our country. Maybe you ought to do some reasearch.
Get a grip. If you read my other post you would see that my intent was not racist.

Pasted from the U.S. Census bereau.

"White. A person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa. It includes people who indicate their race as 'White' or report entries such as Irish, German, Italian, Near Easterner, Arab, or Polish.

I think Julie is white. According to the U.S. governement the Shiek is white. Stop throwing the race card around. There are better ways to pass your time.

I like how he said at first that he just lifted when it went in to tire shake then he blamed it on a coil wire but watching the replay I never saw the butterflys open after he lifted!?!

He could probably buy NHRA, IHRA, NASCAR, and the state of California but he's not that crazy. He is here having fun like the rest of us wished we could do and loves drag racing. Drag racing is supposed to be FUN and not life and death. ONLY in America does a person get to really persue his or her dreams. Im glad he decided to spend his money here in the U.S.A. mostly on AMERICAN made equiptment.

We need all the teams we can get on the circuit, and it happens to benefit our economy a little bit too. We should be applauding these guys.

If you want to feel bad for someone how about us sportsman racers who only had one qualifying run and were barely on the schedule the rest of the weekend. Because there was only one run (except stock who got two) some guys didn't get a run. Welcome to our world Larry!!!

So for you to say she should be uncomfortable around them is a out of line because you or Julie don't know the owners/partners in Al-Anabi racing.
I try to give everyone a fair shake and not judge then by their "culture". So let me get your's and Julie's thought process correct using myself as an example; I have a friend who has several Confederate Flag's on his vehicle and tow vehicle, should I as an African American be uncomfortable around him because of this? this is basically what you said that because of the way people in the mid east treat their women she shouldn't be comfortable. If I missed something let me know.
You have nothing to fear of some flag. You can walk down the streets of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and the odds of you being accosted by some old klanner animal, like Lawrence Rainey, would be zero.

Now, on the other hand, as we speak, sharia law is quite active in the Middle East, even Qatar. Please tell me I don’t have to explain sharia law to you.

Racist? That word means absolutely nothing anymore. It’s been so overused and misused. Now, if you wish to call me a “culturalist”, I’ll plead guilty. There are some cultures that are downright loathsome.

No one should have had to tell Larry anything, he should have been able to figure it out by the fact that it was Saturday and almost dark and looking like more rain. He just made a goof, it happens, I'm sure he will force that thing to the finish line on every single run the rest of the year now! They can afford to tear some stuff up LOL
