I just got an email from nhra about overlength trailers in florida.
I already have the permit. But if you don't it's simple to get, and a lot cheaper than the fine would be.

The email from NHRA tends to make one think that a trailer 28' or longer needs a permit. It only does if the overall length is 65' or longer. I have a 41' fifth wheel & 1 ton dually and will not need a permit. I called the number that was given from NHRA and talked to a rep from DOT.
