Would anybody know the current horsepower factors for the 1960-1961 Chevy 283-230 hp. in both Stock and SS? Is the Corvette figure different than the Passenger car? Thanks!

Look right above this thread. Click on Racer info then class guide. The hp # at the top is OEM. The # at the bottom is the NHRA factored rating . Couldn't be much easier, unless somebody does it for you. (LOL)

Stock factor is 215 h.p. Super stock is 225 h.p. Horse power numbers are same for passanger and corvette. I have been looking at a 61 Belair combo with this same 283 motor or one of the 348's. Hope this helps.

Thanks for pointing that out , Mark....didn't know of that feature on this site! And thanks Scott for the response....I've got the 283 and 'glide...know of a guy who's got a '62 Vette thats been sitting for ages...Just a "pipe dream"....don't know what needs to be changed to make the car a '60-'61...not sure if that's a good combo anymore with any hp., and don't have a FI or 2x4 set-up....Not sure if he would agree to this concept...but did notice the guy building one on this site! Too much of an unkown I guess!
