Yea I know Adam Davis, he's a good guy. I don't have any thing bad to say bout him, even if he did kick my butt heads up 2nd round in Houston

. ...That's another race I shut off cuz he was goin 1.42 under, he was ahead of me though.

Oh, and my dad is gonna be fine. He is just doin a lot of testing on his heart and may have to do some procedures. I'll let him get on here and tell yall more if he wants.

I left the keys in the car again..
You would think I would have learned from 2007 when I left the keys in it and Lee Zane stole it.

To get back on the topic of this thread,I race in F/SA with a 1970 442 Convertible at 3950 pounds.

Just for kicks,I went to one of those online horsepower calculators,and tried to figure out how much horsepower I would need to run 10.87,which is what the F/SA class winner ran in the class final.These were the results:

Horsepower Results - 1/4 Mile Method
Your 442 weighs about 3950 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 10.87 seconds. That means that you've got about 607.85 HP at the wheels, and about 790.20 HP at the flywheel.

I don't know much about the 340,but how much horsepower and weight are they running?

hahaha well that calculator is a bit off. My 72 340 Duster on that calculator made 659hp @ 3205lbs. I didnt know BUB made that much power, he really is the man!!!

oh yea btw nice runs Findell, Mosbek, and Wann!!!

Mr 442. For a car weighing 3950 to run 10.90 at 119. You would have to make around 525 at the flywheel. What is your Comp Ratio? What are you rated at? Just wondering? I know the 70 455 Olds Combo is tough. What is the fastest you have been? Those 340 Mopars are bad. Glad they don't run G
