Dave, I couldn't agree more that the track crew should have been on it, however, in order to make things better in the future the track management, who was probably not watching the action from the tower, should be notified. If anyone wants, I will gladly contact them and make them aware that the track was junk on Sunday. Were there bald spots or was the track just slippery?

Evan,Alex was walking around near the water box around the time of the semi finals.I'll tell you what I saw. There was nobody maintaining the water box for the first 3 or 4 rounds.Cars were dragging water up and guys were doing burnouts in puddles in the right lane. Some were smoking the left tire and the right tire was spinning in water. Finally in the afternoon there were 2 guys sweeping the rocks and spreading the water. When they tried to use the blower I thought the guy was going into cardiac arrest pulling the starter cord.Didn't start and they just walked away from it.

Had a great time at Yankee stadium for my 3rd trip this year......left field, 3rd row from the wall.....My friend might have been partly responsible for helping Johnny Damonee as we like to call him...forget how many outs there were.....he was yelling to Johnny to thow the ball up to us but there were only 2 outs and a run scored on his mental lapse.......beers are $9 and were cold......We did not care about traction and got our monies worth......$170 is about right for a sunny afternoon in the Bronx...well maybe a little shy if you add the GWB toll and the parking.....Tickets earlier this year were $95.......

E-Town is often not so good tractionwise later in the day.....earlier this year at a regular bracket race day I lost in rd 4 and was off in 60' and at the 1/8th by more than normal......... others tell me the same story at times there and sometimes worse..........Lots of cars running and nobody doing anything much that I can see.......Test and Tuners routinely messing up the track right in the middle of the day when we are running eliminations........Once earlier this year we sat for a very lengthy oil down and it was not the first of the day,,,,,,all because they take their $$$$ at the gate and let them out on the track between rounds.......and when we bitch they say those cars paid their money at the gate and they are going to let them run.........And to be quite honest it has often been exactly that way down there......

I wasn't lucky enough to experience this condition at RWP. but I can F--KING tell you this SH-T is getting scary . I ALMOST CRASHED AT cecil AND THE NEXT THREE PAIRS AFTER ME ALMOST HIT THE WALL AND OR CROSSED OVER INTO OTHER LANE AND STILL NO TRACK TUNE UP. Does someone have to crash and get hurt, what happened to the safety, STOP racing fix it or end it!!!
