Default DQ'ed for fuel...

I see that a car was disqualified for fuel in the first round Stock at Vegas If it isn't a heads up race,why do they check fuel after qualifying is complete?It already passed during qualifying.

I was done like that last year and at atlanta this year, and wondered the same thing, but I didnt really care.
