I don't know the schedule at all. A few cars went down. Dusty Lowell 11.07 Brenda Grubbs 10.51 Drooze 11.38 Peter Biondo 10.51. There seem to be traction for the stockers. The time are from memory, i think they are right or at least pretty close

Thanks Bob.That wrap is very labor intensive. But I guess it's good as far as protecting the paint. And if you sell it you just strip it off and you have a new white palate for the new owner to start all over.

We started first pass at 11.8 that was VERY fat on AFR and 6500 shift points Next run was 6800 shift points and a leaner AFR still very very very fat but 1 tick incrementally lower than before. Next run was 7k shift points next 72, Last one 7500 (going to 8 k) but my dumb *** hadnt changed the rev limiter and I had it set to guess what 7500....I was skpping the limiter in 1 and 2nd Im happy it actually shifted and I didnt go down the track in 1st gear But that pass was 10.87 , every pass was about 2.3 tenths faster with each tune. IF what we have planned for checks out were all good and on to the next....all went according to plans. Just like every other day with us, not enough time, we didnt run our first pass till after 2. Now we are checking egts, AFR and logs big time on every pass. (since our valve tap and other mishap) I had PLANNED to get 6 passes and to 10.5 today, I only got 4 passes though. So only got down to 10.8 The old man will be driving tommorow and this weekend we think...So Ill throw the next tune on it of the 4 more we had planned It looks from data like its got another second in it, and thats almost exactly what we expected out of this cam and headers around 9.8 when dialed in. Our AFR on final run was 11.2 .... yes really....and that was MY choice to ru it in this way and collect data and incrementals, it will take 10 total passes to get the info I want and get the car zerod to the "break in case of zombie attack" drive like hell nuclear option tune..... The only single thing I have any regrets or dissapointments of is I only got 4 passes, we had planned on 6 but it took longer in the trailer to get our liscences and all paperwork squared away (but now I liscenced and so is the old man ![]() Im never gonna live the 8 second comment down here until someone goes 8.99 with one of these....Oh well....if I can be of entertainment value then at least I have SOME value. Here is another few pics to enjoy, when you see the old man youll have no doubts as to my sense or lack of humor....(the pic was his idea I didnt even kn ow he did it till 5 minutes ago.....thats Pop...) The track today was a wonderfull time....got to meet some GREAT people, truly great. Oddly I got to meet someone who I have wondered who he was for a long time, "Dusty Lowell" he was a follower on the blog since the beginning and I parked behind him in staging and he told me hed been following us...that was neat. Also met a great bunch of others some Ive chatted with here and on the phone, Great day..... Still havent got the trailer re-orgainzed but, good day. Thanks everyone who has helped with their knowledge and advice. To the ballbreakers, thank you as well....you keep me going ![]() Thanks to Stewart Way and Art Leong for their help with "the drill" And to Bill Holt for squaring away our screwed up last minute paperwork. Great day ! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Chris "drooze" Wertman; 03-04-2010 at 08:17 PM. Reason: added thanks and pic |

You'll find that most racers...even ballbreakers like me are really pretty good guys.....and will usually help you in a heartbeat.....
