Gary. Don't know you, but I like the way you think. We have 3 vehicles in our stable. A 64 Lightweight that we REALLY enjoy running NSS/A index and then enter her in Pro E.T. (thats where we can let her tongue hang out. lol) An 05 Hemi Ram 4x4 that runs in Pro E.T, Street Eliminator, New Hemi Challenge and working on Super Street. Under construction is our Drag Pak E/SA 5.7 Challenger which we also plan to run Pro E.T on any given day. Get Pinks back to the upper Midwest and we'll empty the garage. Keep up the good work.

Gary,
I sure hope they do this when they come West, I would think we could get a pretty good car count over here, any mention of them considering doing this at other events or just one?

I have a question. If somebody had a really fast SS/KA car that would run 10.20, and another guy had a dog of a SS/DA car that would barely run the index (10.20), they would be heads-up equals under this Pinks deal?

But, the SS/KA and SS/DA would run heads up, right? Then the much better faster SS/KA car wouldn't really be better and faster under that format?

It seems the faster cars do win But, It really depends on how well you do on a arm drop, Im not 100% sure but if you run quicker than 2tenths of your two Q runs then your out. The 32 car field they chose what they called the underdogs. these were 16 cars that were up two 2 tenths slower and had a chance in the first round to take out the first 16 by winning off a holeshot and possibly winning some money the next round. It would really surprise you to see how many guys really do hesitate or jump because of nerves and all the TV stuff going on. My only flaw was getting used to a 4 tenths pro tree for the time runs...Good luck with that and being about 4 tenths off the field they picked . Oh well we still had FUN.
