Default Magnafuel 275 pump

Is this a dependable pump ? I need to get a replacement for my BG 280. Anyone know of bad reports on it ?

Kenny I had the prostar 4810 on my bracket car and it was garbage. 1st pump was bad out of the box. 2nd pump lasted 2 races and wouldn't come back on. 3rd pump 1st race quit working at the 330ft mark. Went back to BG 400-2 pro titanium. Never had another problem.

Kenny,

I have had very good luck with the QuickStar 275. I have been using it for 2 years on my Shelby with no problems.

K WIG, we've been running one for 5 years, and love it.

Excellent pump...We run them on street cars because of the continuous duty design...

Thumbs up Re: Magnafuel 275 pump

We have a magnafuel 300 which is the same as a 275 with an adjustable pressure set up. It has been on the car with zero problems since 2004. I am very happy with it. I just bought a new one to swap it out and sned the other in for a check up. Not that it needed anything, but I kind of felt guilty. Figured I should send it in for a PMI.
