Ed, realistically, how much weight do you think that draining the radiator would accomplish? From other racers that were actually AT Boise last year, the water from the rad was just caused by a hot engine & /or weak rad cap filling the overflow bottle until some spilled out. The Sorenson have always had fast cars, going back to their 305 Camaro. They have set a number of records, and survived plenty of teardowns.

Thats not saying much.....have you ever seen some of his (Little's) customers heads (I never saw his)......I have seen a couple of his customers heads in the past----at the first Top Stock race in Norwalk is one example. Never saw Sorensons stuff so I cant say anything. Ancient History anyway I guess so it really dosent matter. Just wanted to say there is a LOT of crap that is being passed and a LOT that LOOKS REAL GOOD (you guys are getting good at hiding stuff....lol) and passed but not much going fast is untouched unless the combo is way under factored. The older combos have been flogged to death for years if that gives you any idea of whats going on. If you think its all good engine building then I have a couple of bridges for sale if your interested.

Congratulations to the Sorenson’s!
And for all the naysayers the car is LEGAL. For those inquiring it is an iron head motor. I was just there for a few seconds to say hi during their tear down and did not pay much attention to how big the bore was. 427 used to be their bullet of choice not sure if they stuck with that going to B/SA
