I see now why NHRA never asked you back.

You say you were an IHRA tech man for 20 plus years right. I was just curious if you held the bible for the famous IHRA teardowns(1978-1984) or if you guys paid a real preacher to do it for you. I would be shocked if you even know how to check a cylinder head cc.

The last time I set an IHRA record they never even plug a valve out of the head or rolled the cam. Is this the kind teaching you left behind when you left?
Charley Im tired of the pi$$ing contest with you. I dont care if he was torn down or not but the story is he was either protested or requested to tear down and loaded up and left. The story was it was a 350. Were you even born at that time? It was a very long time ago so some details are fuzzy. On top of that I have CC'd more cyl heads than you ever thought about. I preped heads for stock and S/S since 1969 before everyone started to "Enhance" them as in what some called acid porting. There is more cheating and outright bogus crap going on today than ever before. I can check a cams duration and overlap like we did in the 60'and 70's.....can you? I can quote engine specs for most older cars without looking at the spec book. Greg X tought me and he was one of the best I worked with along with Marty Barrett in Div 3, John beedenkamp (sp?) from Div.2, and past NHRA tech director Jim Dale. . Im done with you. Have a nice life and I really do hope your Mustang flies and you get hit with about 75 more HP before all is said and done. Those damn things belong in S/S along with the new V-10 Challenger. Have a nice life.

No...Not really. Just tired of these young punks who think they know everything and have it all given to them. I respect the group (young and older) who race for the effort and time they put into their programs, who work hard and dont run their mouths. 99% of the GOOD racers never post on here and I dont blame them. Im just about done with this forum myself. I would be in AA/S or A/S myself right now if it wasnt for the new bogus so called stockers. Why waste my money and time? One might as well take up golf or street rodding. Im thinking an I thru K car would have been better until the new V-6 Mustang came out. It wont be long and the new combos will have all of the classe covered. Just what NHRA wants. A new car show only.

Come on now Terry this is all in good fun. No one wants you to leave the classracer. I don't know everything and have not had it all given to me. I hate to burst your bubble but Stock and SS are a huge waste of money( just ask any S/SS racers wife).
I just have one last question, I see you have posted over 2,200 times on this forum, so what category do you put your self in?

The stupid catagory. Im a dumb ***** for wasting my time on here trying to help a few and inform some of a little history of Stock and S/S racng. In the big picture none of this stuff even matters.

No you're not. I don't always agree with you, but I think it is good to hear both sides of every argument. Only history will tell if it matters or not.

(If everyone on here agreed all the time it really would be sad)
