Are they allowing any car claimed as a class legal car? Were scales and fuel check required? |

Not a bold statement, just fact. 67 camaro, with a cowl induction hood???? with blatant aftermarket seats. I've seen this car at the track before, and maybe they changed the motor before the race, as I didn't see it with the hood up, but this car had aluminum intake before.

If someone was gonna pay the money to get the grade point, I don't blame the division for taking the money. Not at all !!!! We all know someone that went and just teched the car for the grade point. There is nothing wrong with that, maybe their car isn't ready yet, but you shouldn't get to race whatever you want just cause you paid for the tech card. Can I bring a friends S/G car and enter Stock or a dragster and enter SS ??????

Thanks Rick for the update. Although I am not interested in who the car owner and driver is, I am interested in knowing if scales and fuel check was in use.

And it's positive that the Camaro wasn't entered in Super Street? That would yield the same result as far as giving the driver a grade point that could be used in Stock or Super Stock. A lot easier to make a legal Super Street than a legit stocker.

Charlie, the scales were available but we didn't do fuel or scales. sorry, I forgot to answer your question earlier.
JM, the class was in shoe polish, so it was for stock. |

I shouldn't have even brought it up, it's already out of proportion. I don't have an issue with the other cars or anyone out there.
