After my post about Unleashed and Pinks All Out got booted to another section, I saw this and thought, "oh my, what now," S/SS Racers are going to go index, "NHRA Unleashed" racing. By the time it gets to Z-Max in August those cars will possibly out number the other classes of cars, (especially since most of the S/SS cars appear to be going somewhere else and not supporting the Z-Max date), and they will put on a show, old and new cars, wheels up and the closest finishes for the event.

Been on about 10 or 15 different drag racing web sites, the last two days, and track forums and it is real interesting how many people are talking about the indexs and racing in those races at Division 2 races. Now this might be interesting to some on here, saw some conversation about IHRA is looking at this also. You can't fill all of car entries (500+) cars in less than 12 minutes and draw standing room only spectators to all of your races without the big dogs wanting the action.

Of course the old dogs and the young "Die Hards" will argue otherwise this could be the future of sportsman racing down the road. No AHFS, no engine specs to keep up with, no tear downs, no tech guys with years of knowledge of what it supposed to be, no special expensive gas to run, no bogus HP factors, no scale wts. to check, less expense to the racing association to maintain, no bogus heads and intakes, less expense to build and race but lets get rid of those UGLY hood scoops unless it was a factory piece and please.....NO delay boxes, or throttle stops allowed later. . Billy Meyers was just ahead of his time....Just saying !
P.S. Oh one more thing.....LESS bitching from the racers......LOL.
