Bill,
Thanks for the post here on Class Racer. It has been a lot of fun to have so many people stop by and look at the car. I think it brings back some fond memories for them. Of course the Mopar guys really soak it up. It has been 31 years since I last raced Stock Eliminator and one of the reasons I still like to be around S/SS cars is the car show you get to be around while competing. I feel most fortunate to have been able to build this car. Don |

A good friend of mine had a 66 Belvedere 2 door hardtop with the street hemi and 4 speed. That was a sweet car.

I believe the '67 cars are the only ones allowed to run the hood scoop.....it's a stretch from the '67 RO cars which were all hdtp's.

That's a very sharp looking Coronet 2 door sedan you have there. I'm a little curious but was it an original Hemi car or was it something else when you started the build-up. Do you have any engine & interior shots of it, love the body lines, it's a very clean looking car!

We were in Denver last week and seen Don's 1966 Coronet. It is beautiful.
Even though we race in the .90 classes, we still enjoy watching the S/SS guys and Don's ride is sweet. Ironically, we had a friend stop by our pits Saturday with his 66 Coronet. I'll try to upload a picture. It's an all original (including original paint) 1966 Hemi Coronet with 4 speed, red paint, white interior, Mr. Norm's car. It would have been neat to see these two 66 coronets lined up next to each other. Either way, both are really neat cars. Thanks, Brad |

Hemi Moose,
The car started as a 6 cyl, automatic. I'm glad that you like the car. Don Morris |
