Well, we still are not finished with the vette and i need to change the gear ratios (again) in the chevelle. So we're not gonna make this one. Hopefully we'll make the last two and be ready for next year. And thanks again Danny so much for coming to the shop and certifying the vette!

This was a super race today. Weather was nice the track was good to the point of some broken rear gears and transmissions. Too bad that the tracks do not promote these races outside of someone finding it on the internet. The guys and gals put on a whale of a show. Congratulations to Brian Rowe on his win.

Thumbs up Re: Fayetteville s/ss combo roll call

Congrats to the winner and r/u.
I tried to make it after problems with intake gasket leaking water last nite after installing new lifters...
Had to wait for parts store to open this am and was too late to get done.
Fel-pro gasket was leaking so i pulled the intake and the gasket just started coming apart.
Never has this happen before or heard of it before. Maybe just a defect or something.
Finally bought a victor gasket and installed and seems to be ok now...If i didn't have bad luck i would not have any luck at all.
Missed you all today ,,,,,,sorry..Not even gonna say i will be at the next one as that seems to bring me bad luck.

I hear that... broke an axle in the big car last week (new ones should be in today), and had a bunch of problems with the little car in Montgomery this weekend.

Now Ronnie, that is for sure the pot calling the kettle black. I just might not be so patient for the next set of heads that you port for me after that remark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I'm almost done....if I can just keep the work trucks repaired and running AND keep Jennifer happy and out of my hair I will be at piedmont. Hoping for low 5.40's in ss/a production!!! IHRA style. We'll try a/mod later. Are you coming?

Well, I guess it's possible you'll get the work trucks all done. But, that second problem won't be nearly as easy!!

Not sure about Piedmont. It depends on how things go at the shop. You know how them racers are always rush rush!!!!

Speak of the devil, is Jennifer going? I haven't been set up, tricked or verbally abused lately and I know I can count on her to fix that. (tell her the sheep farmer says hello)
