My dad's friend, Wallace Allen, ran a Capri, Little Brown Jug. I believe he was classed in or around W/S.

I have a pic on my computer at work of a 66 Nova wagon, SS/K, called Quarter Pounder. The picture was taken at Cornhusker, so it was the early 70's...anybody know whose car that was?

I believe the guys name who ran the 1/4 pounder in s/s was Haas ?. Larry Severson from N. Dakota bought it, and ran it in the brackets with a BB. That was in the late 70's gsa612

During Prohibition in the '20s-30s a "business opportunity" arose here in Nova Scotia to use fishing boats to smuggle liquor into the U.S. past the patrol boats. With that in mind one of my favorite race car names was on a Roadrunner that raced here in the '70s, named "Rum Runner".
Some other local names included: "Moonshot" "One More Time" "Lucky Pierre" "Snoopy" "The Wooden Shoe" "The Invader" "The Fog City Flyer" "Dollar After Dollar". |
