Lost a great friend and racer.
I was hoping someone else would post this today so I would not have to. With a heavy heart I must tell you, Kenny Koonce Jr died last night from an apparent heart attack. Please keep his family in your prayers.

I heard it this afternoon but did'nt know if it was true. He did a lot of work for me.Kenny was one of a kind and will be missed. RIP

I received a call from Kenny's mom earlier this evening confirming the news. Kenny and I were friends for over 25 years sharing good and bad times. We were in each others weddings, drove each others race cars and drinked each others beer. We were not on good terms the last couple of years and that will eat at me forever. I pray that he knew our friendship meant alot to me and that he will be missed.
To Mr. and Mrs. Koonce, Yvonne, Sherrie, Blair and Koby you are in my thoughts and prayers. To Kenny, paint the heavens and label it with Kenny's Kustoms so I'll know where to find you. Friends Always, Sterling
