Hey Aaron,
Thanks for the offer on the free dyno tune, but it's not needed here and I feel like there is no reason for me to educate you on on LT1 tuning . Since everytime i see the car you are so proud of has the FAST guys tunning it. It takes a little more than just bolting one together to claim it as your the reason its fast.

It shows how little you know about my stuff when the only info you have is what is listed in the Nitro stats(by the way how old are you) I just want to make sure I'm not talking to a 12 year old.

P.S. I feel froggy...........

BTW,There are plenty of nice firebirds out there for sale so whenever you feel froggy go ahead and leap. And if you really want your feelings hurt (I am assuming Bret built this LT-1 of yours) bring it on down to dyno and I'll let you know how much you really have Remember I'm less than a 20 min. drive for you so its a standing offer.
Please tell me in the the above post where I said anything about a free Dyno tuneing sesion,I was just trying to be kind enough to actually show you how much power you were actually making. But just because it would hurt your feelings certainly does not mean that it would be free

I never once claimed to be an e.f.i. tuning expert. And it may seem stupid to you but my course of thinking goes why not go ahead and have the guys who built and designed the system tune it for you, but that seems as if it offends you,or maybe you actually believe that you know more about it than they do.Maybe you shoud see if you can build a better program than the fast boys, since I'm sure there would be plenty of folks who would love to do buisness with you if you could. And I don't do the nitro stats,I just searched your name and car number on drag race central and looked through a few years, especially the last few and I did'nt see anything but your current combo, please don't let it hurt your feelings. So let me ask again, and maybe instead of trying to change the subject by slinging insults this time maybe you will actually ansewer my question.

And as far as your question, I just turned 35 this past month, but mabe you will recognize me as the guy who "bolted together" the engine that qualified numder one and set the SS/F record at bella rose this past weekend.
record. But hey what do I know "I just bolt stuff together"

Mr. Bugaj, I do not run EFI; however I would recommend Heads Up Cylinder Heads for your friends project, if he is looking for a quality Cylinder Head at a reasonable price. Many other engine builders have been mentioned and they might be a consideration depending on the level of performance and money your friend is willing to spend. Mr. Layer does CNC cylinder heads for a good number of the premier engine builders out there, who then put there personal touch on them; however with the HP rating on the LT-1 where it's at, I do not believe it really matters where you go, unless you want HP on the combo, lol!

PS: Mr. Keown, please keep "bolting" motors together, lol! Your time is actually worth money and you have too much class to bother with people who posess neither.

Aaron,
I must have assumed on the free dyno tune, my bad nothing is free.I believe tuning your own stuff is important, but thats my opinion if you choose to use someone else thats great for you, my bad again...

Bret and I tune my LT ( Yes LT not a 327) and the way it performed at Indy last year should speek for itself.

Congrats to Dan and everyone that is or has been involved with the success of getting the SS/F record and # 1Q spot

Kevin Gaffney,

You and Shawn still owe Bret 13k for that engine you never paid for back in 2008,You have some nerve questioning my character.....

Dave, if I really owe him that money, come on over with Bret @ Indy and get it. Anybody who knows me and my brother knows we pay, and pay without question, even Bret knows that, thats how we met. Obviously more to the story...

Dave, guess your running GT? What body and class are you running? Do you have the iron or alum heads? Alum in GT is a tough factor.
