Has anybody ever proposed the idea that if you set the record, you don't get refactored?

That sounds like a pretty good proposal to me. If you get the record you stay clean, if you don't, the hp adjustment is coming.

This thread makes me wish Memphis was still NHRA. Seems like the October events there could be really fast at times. Weather was always crazy over there during that time of the year though. I remember when Scott Geoffrion got the record. Had to be 50 degrees that night.

BG Ky. in Augest. It is not fast , but if you do set a record it sure makes it easer the next week at Indy!
