He most likely was lean and had to much timing with the 11, and just right with the purple. plus sometimes a car will pick up .03 from the first to the second run of the day. No way Sunoco purple makes the same power as C11. I've seen dyno results. Just my 2 cents.

I didn't say it was faster,just comparable.It is **4. a gallon cheaper,plus it will still check ok a year from now.

It's possible Greg, my former car was a low compression ,limited induction, lower rpm combo. I've seen the results when dynoing my stuff. 3 to 5 average hp was the # I witnessed. I don't think it is worth a 10th by any means but it is worth something. Along with everything, your mileage may varry. If somebody doesn't have enough fuel system, you are not going to notice anything between them in the car. I know this first hand...

I went to fuel check with Sunoco purple, it was in the container for over a year and lost it's color. It still checked OK, the NHRA tech told me to put some fresher in just to get the color back into it. The Sunoco here is $7.45 a gallon from the pump.
