Scott -

'66 427 - 2998 SS/B Iron heads, 3063 Alum heads 435/445

'65 396 - 2738 SS/B Iron heads, 2803 Alum heads 395/405

These are achievable. My car weighed 2775 w/driver when it was built. That was without lightweight seats, with iron heads, filled block. We had 350 lbs. above the rear axle and additional 100+ ballast in front of the radiator to make the 50-50 rule (remember that?).

Not sure to be honest. Charlie posted a photo on Facebook but I couldn't tell where they were.

It went pretty well. We were helping Ray get used to the clutchless trans, shift light stuff.
He should be fine at indy. I still dont have the new motor done yet, seems that the fords I have been working on lately, take forever.

Welcome to our world Charlie. You can't just go to the local parts store or aftermarket for that mater with out being on the special order it will be 8 to 10 weeks or longer list.

I ordered tool steel lifters for my AMC stocker in March! This will be their first set they've made so I knew it would be awhile. On Monday I'm placing an order for a Hall effect distributor from ICE Ignition. They're in Australia. I'm sure my parts will be on the slowest boat available. I'm used to it.
