Is it true that the six cyl. Mustangs were built using a Falcon platform (four lug wheels), and the V8 Mustangs were build on the Fairlane platform ( five lug wheels)?

Obviously being halfway around the world I've missed out on some stuff, but could somebody tell me why these combo's are flagged? Being that I'm hoping to be out with you all next year I would really like to understand this system better. Now I know that if a combo goes -1.2 or more under its automatic but I'm fuzzy at best on the rest. Also how are they coming up with a 7 hp hit?

I believe that instead of calling RJ an "Old Meathead", you should consider it as a fact that at his age, he might had a "Freudian Slip" ...and he forgot to read the memo sent to him to remember to adjust the throttle stop...
...it happens to Mr. Teuton once in a while and the reason why he keeps a cooler with the appropriate beverages required to maintain a healthy brain and memory!

Mustangs and Fairlanes have diferent motor mounts, diferent shock towers, and cannot tie frames together with Mustang bolt in items. It's like comparing the 68 Camaro to the 68 Nova.

This is funny. Most people get mad when they think the new cars are sandbagging, and now are getting mad that the old combo's aren't. Lol
