I see that NHRA is at it again. Little chains that hold on to the header collectors. And SFI approved!!!. Give me a break!!!!!!! Looks like some palms were pressed again. Wouldn't surprise me if they bring up that muffler deal again.
What really surprises me is all this BS that the Stocker/Super Stockers take. You guys are the ones that support NHRA financially. I often wonder what would happen if the racers organized and boycotted some races? I mean really hit NHRA in the pocket book. Those boys up there with their triple digit salaries need to have their asses handed to them. Better yet maybe the IRS needs to take a real hard look at this so-called nonprofit. Maybe take a look at these lame asses that sit atop their golden thrones making up some of these dumb *** rules in the name of making another buck. Until the racers stop and smell the coffee and realize that there is strength in numbers you'll continue to be treated like pansies while the NHRA boys and the aftermarket take your money. Guys, you are the show. Finally, get organized and boycott NHRA. Show them you are done with all these lame rules that are designed to pad the pockets of the aftermarket. This is an association and you need to be a part of the decision making. If you do that, I'm sure that after a few races you'll get their attention. Signed, Stocker Fan |

One thing has been bothering me about this problem. I have been to the drag and circle track race going on 50 years. I have seen collectors fall off cars. However I have not seen any questions being asked of the pre race inspection held. Did the inspector check all fasteners that have been failing. I find it hard to believe the problems that have ocurred could not have been prevented with a pre race maintenance check of the vehicle and a safety inspection at the track. There is always an exception however the majority is what I am addressing. Most cllectors are held on with 2 anchors, how do both fail at the same time. Remember there is always an exception.

No, I'm not Jeff burk. I am actually a fan of Stock/Superstock. I am old school and not really interested in the pre-madonna funny car/top fuel circus. I am sure there are others like me that are fans that get tired of seeing the drivers screwed over. |
