Congrats to all the winners and all that participated in this excellent event. Everyone drove well, some killer packages were almost the norm in many of the match ups. A big thanks to Rob Keister for having me back this year. Also the Dimino family and all of their staff were excellent to work with as always, the track worked both days as many of the racers ran their numbers regularly. This was certainly a fun event, to bad it wasn't a bit better attended. A special thanks to the Bender family, Bob, Penny and Zack as they had coffee for me both mornings and a very fine spagetti dinner on Friday night. These are special people who have FUN any time they are racing. I hope to see them and many others at our Lee Sherman Memorial Stock / Super Stock event on Nov. 2 & 3 at Mason Dixon Dragway in Hagerstown Md. Good luck to all at the MG National Event and at the Dutch. Race safe, see you all again soon.

How many S/SS cars are in the tri state area? How is it possible that the participation at Numidia was as low as it was ? Maybe because those valuable NHRA pts. arent awarded? Guys will travel half way around the country to race at an event then bitch because they haven't received there contigency $$.These guys promote a race where the winner is taken home $3000 cash in your pocket and no one shows. Does it make sense to go to races where your spending more to participate then you can win?Maybe if the winner was given a Wally instead of Cash $$ the house would have been packed?I would like to thank all involved for promoting the race and HOPE some how there will be more like it in the future.

Joe, you have a point there... The super comp and super gas cars earns points at Numidia towards the MASCA, and MASGA series races respectively. We finish up the points series for the ECSSSA race in two weeks at Atco. Next year maybe Rob could work with Dave Ley and have one or both of the final points days up at Numidia. Just a thought...

I dont think that would hurt the car count and like it or not, points series make it interesting. Maybe even invite the ASRA guys down for a battle between North East Stock/SuperStock series, with points for their respective associations...

And I do applaud Rob for his efforts. Cant wait to see RobzNeedForSpeed videos of the event.

I couldn't have said it any better than Joe Zoom. Had a great time and can't thank the people and sponsors enough. I can only believe we have a lot of primadonas in Div. 1. I know some were at Charlotte chasing championships but where were the rest of you?

I have been planning this race since it was announced, two weeks ago I went to Numidia to test and make sure I was ready but had fuel pressure problems and on the 3rd pass broke the trans front pump and got a flat in one of the slicks. I'll be using the A and A Trans 4340 pump this time and figured I should put in the trans sheild at the same time. A fuel cell and change in regulator arrangement should cure the fuel problem. Lack of time and about 800 for parts needed, forced me to stay home, I was depressed all day Fri and Sat, knowing I missed the boat. Other than the FP problem and the 3900 DA the car ran quite well considering how long it's been sitting. I'll be out in a few weeks again, hopefully with no problems this time.

Thanks also to DragRaceResults for paying contingency! Just buying a couple of stickers over the winter, got to cash in several times this year. Great deal!

Numidia is kind of my second home, as I grew up in central PA. Beaver Springs is my home track, but Team Beaver used to invade Numidia whenever our schedule allowed. Great to have mom and dad with me!

I just wanted to come on here and say "Thanks" to all the racers who came out and supported the event and worked with me when we saw that the car count wasn't looking too good and we made it into a combo event. I spoke with a lot of racers over the weekend about how we could improve the event if we decided to do another one in 2014 and I got a lot of good feedback. I guess between Charlotte, MIR having the Stick Shift Nationals and the Hot Rod Reunion event at Epping it was just bad timing to try and draw a lot cars for the event. I do applaud some of the racers who blew stuff up Friday and did everything in their power to piece it back together so they could race on Saturday. Temps were a little cold but, we were done all 3 days no later then 6pm with the winners crowned. A big hats off to Mike Summers and the Numidia crew for an awesome track and Keith Hildebrant from Maple Grove who worked the waterbox over the weekend and did track prep! A big thanks to Nitro Joe who came out from Ohio to help keep me sane and Mike Bassin who did the announcing over the 2 days. Also Gina "Cupcake" Mocci for helping with registration and Rob Jackson's wife Rose for helping out Gina at the booth. Also the Donhausers and the crew from the Moose who put on an excellent BBQ. Thank you all for the support. I'm going to weigh out the options for 2014 and see where is takes me. I'd love to work with Dave Ley and the ASRA guys with a shoot out Friday Night "ECSSA vs. ASRA who's the best on the northeast?"

Once again thanks to all the racers for their support at this event along with the sponsors help! I couldn't do it without any of you guys!!
