I wasn't aware they paid that little.
Chad, how much did your car pick up in that air? I have never gone down the track in that kind of air.

Ed
On Saturday I went 10.22 and 10.25 on my 2 time runs. Sunday the air was much better and with out changing anything on my car I went 10.14 on the brakes against Jeff Atkinson in the semi's. There was also a pretty good head wind that I figured at .03 so it was probably .10 to .12 quicker. Had the wind been at our back it would have been mine shaft.

It picked up 11, but I made some changes. There was also a pretty stiff head wind. I picked up .103 to the 660 and .007 on the back half.

That's 61% payback. An NHRA Div. 2 LODRS with 45 cars pays back 36% of entry fees.

I'm pretty sure they spent well over $1,000 on track prep and staffing for tech and teardown alone, focused almost solely for the benefit of Stock and Super Stock racers. The record runs were entertaining and great to watch. But...there's always something to complain about.
