Congrats to old man Marshall on your win! lol

Track was decent, right lane had alot of cars turning right for whatever reason. Thats why the S/S had to get outta the gas and crunched his pan. Even after I fixed and lowered my wheelie bars had to run a turn extra down in the one to keep it from going too far right in the right. Parking was fine until Sunday when they let in the bracket cars and they parked between rigs thoughtlessly. I had to go get a track guy to run the jerk outta my pit so I could get the race car out and then before second round a spectator parked his pick up right behind my race car so I could hardly get outta my pit area. Some people have no consideration for others. Very stupid selfish people. Pit road by me was sand and way lumpy but my pit was grass, nice and flat. With some more improvements it could be a pretty nice track. The track people were really nice although that usually wears off after the first few years havin a pro am. lol Only real problem I see is the track's in basically a nice neighborhood thats developing. Just wonder how long before the neighborhood shuts it down because of noise.

Hey guys that's my home track. I sure appreciate the kind words about OC. They are really trying hard to make the track a lot better. Art, The owner told me one day that he just decided to make a place for the little guy to run. That was 50 years ago. Art died a few years ago and Ruth and her son Tim got IHRA sanctioning. They got some of the bleachers from Martin when131 redid the place and OC is doing a good job of sprucing the place up. You should have seen the place 3 years ago!!!. I doubt very seriously that the folks there will ever get to a point where they aren't friendly. The folks at OC do a lot for the young ones and give them a place to run their cars on Friday nite. Keeps them off the street!!! Thanks again for the kind words as they can only help encourage Tim and his mom to do more. Pleas send them a little note of encouragement if you can. See ya next year!!

Other than being very dusty and red-lighting to Mike first round Sunday - I have no complaints. They had more spectators there than I have seen at most NHRA points meets.

Overall, the event was good for a first time Pro-Am, but it would have been nicer if more racers would have come out and supported it. I'm sure some were at the "Funny Car Nationals" up at US-131, just 2 hrs. from Osceola. I agree with Michael Lyons concerning the parking situation. They certainly need a spectator parking area and people to park the racers coming in. Just doing those couple of things would have let the event run smoother.
