Default Replacement body shell question

Just wondering, would a " officially licensed" replacement shell fly in stock???

If you're referring to an aftermarket body from a source such as Dynacorn, then yes, in fact, Jim Boburka has already built one.

Have to make sure you get the body with the stock demension wheelwells, some come with bigger than stock wheelwells which could get you bounced in tech.

We were bench building the other night and I was asked what I'd do with a unlimited budget on my stocker build. I said I'd build a new ground up A/S 69 camaro and we were wondering if it was possible with a replacement shell

You can buy almost every part, if not every part, brand new.

But the Dynacorn body itself is well over $10K. There is even a company somewhere making a complete OE style subframe.

Again this was a what if you won powerball bench building session
It seems every corner I turn on my current project is slowed due to its 45yo age. How nice would it be to start with everything new!!
I will start a build thread soon.
