Default Ceramic lifters

Curiosity question. Are ceramic type lifters still being used
by Stock Eliminator guys? If so, what do they cost ?

Thanks in advance,
Gerry

Please be aware.......We have had the bottom fall out of a couple
of sets and destroyed engines. Be careful with valve adjustment and
watch valve train.

Some people are still using the Smith/Schubeck style lifters but as was previously stated if one breaks the short block is toast. A lot of people are now using Trend or PPPC tool steel lifters, limited travel for hydraulic cams.. If you're using a billet cam you have to use the coated ones. The only draw back with tool steel lifters is you can't break the cam in with them. You have to use standard lifters with reduced spring pressure or Smith/ Schubeck lifters to break the cam in.
