We are putting together a program at Lakeland Dragstrip called Friday Night High School Challenge
We are hoping to get the kids off the streets and onto the track where the racing fun can be monitored and supervised. Our high school kids will get points based on our very own NHRA structure and the school with the most points at the end of the 8 week season will win the amount saved from $5 of every entry fee during the season. In addition, there will be weekly prizes for the winner and runner up. This is just a brief overview of the program, if you want more info please let me know. I would be greatly appreciative of any ideas that you all might have regaurding this and what you think of this idea !!!! Waibel Competition B/SA 2231 Lakeland Motorsports Park Camaro |

We are going to do that at Piedmont but we are going to kick it off with an event called 1/4 mile quarterbacks. One 1/4 back from each high school in a grudge race against the others. We also have talked to the Auto Mechanics class to get them going against each other. Just some ideas.
