The Factory Showdown cars should still be regulated by the ahfs! When, where and how did these cars get an ahfs pass? Looks like they should be getting some horsepower.

Maybe there is a little confusion in the new FS classes?
First, the Factory Showdown is a special limited run event. Only at those special events where run, does the AHFS get exempted for only those cars that participate in it. Second, there are new classes for the 2008 and newer cars. In Stock they are in Factory Stock (FS/), and in Super stock they are in Factory Super Stock (FSS/). In all other runs excluding where the Showdown is run and participated in, all AHFS rules apply. I think these are the rules and may help clarify any misinterpretation. If they are not correct, my apologies and please advise the correct rules.

Hint # 1: Don't believe everything you hear over the PA system at a National event.

Not really Charley.
Big Hint # 2: Read the 8th paragraph of the ahfs. More to come!

Bruce So tell me how a exhibition class that doesn't not have a assigned hp factor only a min weight and index can receive hp.
I think the big problem here is some of you old ***** clowns don't want to change You guys would rather see stk/ ss die a slow death like comp eliminator is doing now. All because no one wants to change with the times. God forbid we try to get new racers involved in stk and SS. I know the answer will just sue NHRA again like Bruce does everytime he has a problem. Bruce if anyone knows how AHFS works it's me.

The man of unlimited insults has declared himself as an ahfs expert. Perhaps you can explain the intent of the 8th paragraph of the ahfs. FYI, I have never sued nhra. A man of your great knowledge should know that. My question again. Who gave the FS/X cars an ahfs pass?
