That's what the Competition Plus article indicated (sorry, can't provide link right now).

I don't understand the problems. It's just dumb iron & aluminum. MOPAR, GM & Ford don't make those parts. Outside vendors do. They just assemble parts to build cars. The race versions of those factory Pro Stock race engines are are more similar to the other two brands than many realize. Costs money to run those cars. Teams have to what they have to do.
Been a few years, but a friend of mine was running very well in Pro Stock, the cylinder head guy he was working with told me he used the same CNC program for the ports in the GM & Dodge Pro Stock heads. They ain't all that different.

I loved P/S until the cars lost the factory looks. S/SS & sportsman are where I will always belong.

Pro Stock is like your big brother, who went astray somewhere along the line: You still love him, but can't believe he ended up where he is.
I remember when the US Pro Stock Team came to Epping. Probably the greatest drag racing event that I have ever witnessed. |

If you are into making N.A. horsepower, those guys just about have to be your heros.
If you like blowers, nitrous, no cubic inch limit, etc, you may like pro mod.

I Think you have the wrong take on Jeggie. He loves sportman racing and I have always found he to be a great guy. He has always been friendly to me. I do have a yellow Car though.
