I have finished scanning and adding all of the Team ?Check Mate? pictures to the photo album listed below. I would like to thank Mike and Paul again for allowing me to scan their pictures and put them in an online photo album for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully some of the rest of you guys can come up with some old pictures for me to scan and share with the Drag Racing world.

Dumb question... but why do Class Win decals have a "T" on them? "Top Eliminator"?

Michael,
Taking it one step further you will notice there is one decal with the letter "E" on it. That one is for reaching the final round of the Eliminator in your respective class. The one illustrated is Paul's 1974 Sportsnationals victory over Ken Montgomery's Triple Nickel" A/MP car. By 1976 they quit giving "E" stickers because I didn't get one for my Fall Nats victory in 76. MK

Michael, The T for trophy was placed on both cars for the final round of class i. e . Trophy Run.
Still that way today.
