Default Re: Air Shifter

I inquired about an air shifter for my fleet this weekend at Dallas. No. Even the Copo cars should not have them. My .30 cents (inflated .02) However I was told a 38 Hudson Teraplane with inline Hemi power was ok.

100% agree, been saying this for a while..

Stock is more and more becoming a far cry from what it once was....

Obviously in novassdude's situation things can be made to work. As long as it's a function of the driver.
Define 'gizmo' :-)

How about get rid of all that stuff and make the rule "shifting must be a function of the driver only" shifting by electronic, air, or pneumatic means prohibited.........

I agree with this. I was looking at an air shift unit as part of converting my street strip car to a trailer super stocker but it didn't seem like much fun.

While you're at it, move all the FWD conversion cars to co elim.
