[QUOTE=GL PERF;546119]How about Casey Miles 1969 Camaro Z/28. I believe he has owned and raced it in stock since 1970![/Q

X2 for Casey's Z28, still runs the car with wipers and exhaust. Went 11.00 in Gainesville this year. Love that car and I'm a FFFFord guy!!

I did too, similar to the Super Stock thread.
I don't believe Caltracks and split mono-leafs were around in the 70's..or the 80's ,for that matter.
I would say Casey Miles, hands down.

But wait..Is Tom Gould still racing his Corvair?

My dad, Curtis Smith, and his "Hot Stuff" 1967 Chevrolet Camaro have been around for a long time.

Hey Mark. I haven't hung it up yet. I turned 81 in April and just renewed my license for 2 years. I still try to get out at least 2 times a year (Darlington and Rockingham). In 2015, I only made it to the LODRS race at Rockingham. Had the pleasure of meeting Larry there. Had a .000 in the second round and lost in the semi finals to a COPO and a .000. Still just and old guy having fun.

I've been running my 64 Plymouth since 1973.

My hats off to you Tom. I hope I can still race at 81. I hope to see you at Rockingham in a few weeks.

Just curious, what do you mean by exhaust? Stock manifolds and single tail pipe?
