Steve ,, Would you give up 5 miles from staging lanes to run for $6,000 to win on a close to home Double race day .. possible $12,000 USA $$ Saturday & sunday sounds pretty inviting to me .. take the money after sunday afternoon finals & get to Indy few hours away .. No Brainer to me

Pete, since when is Indy a few hours away? From Cayuga it's a solid 9-10 hour drive with the border and stops for gas, food Etc it's closer to 11-12 hours. But if it's such a no brainer I'll look for you at Indy on Sunday night after you win Both days in Cayuga. I'll wait up for you.

Steve question .. how many grade points does one need these days to get accepted to Indy. ? Or does NHRA have exceptions for lack of entries in some classes ?

it was just like that division 5 race they had in late July. 2 races in one weekend.Making it cheaper for the racer who has a long trip.

you could save some cash if you paid $300.00 for both days or paid $200 for each day and receive a point for each day.

there was 3 or 4 local car that didn't show up for a easy two point race.

This coming wednesday will be when one grading point can enter and there are 118 entries in Stock.

My wife and I enjoyed this race immensely. While we did not do well racing,we were able to see old friends(especially Betsy Smith)and meet new ones.This was a great race event and we are planning to come to many more. Thank you John Scotti and all the racers and track support. Bobby and Nancy Rashid.
