I’m with Billy, if you win class you should be in. Winning class at Indy is like winning an eliminator. The way is always was traditionally. If you work your *** off and get bumped out thats life. Work harder or win class.
QUOTE=Steve Polhill;569770]Nope. Fastest 128 deserve a spot. Seen too many guys work their *** off to be fast enough only to get kicked by at 51 under car, or even worse before the 50 under rule.[/QUOTE] |

Class winners and then remaining field filled by the quicker qualifiers!!!!!!
Since we have the combo class the chance of a single for a class win is very remote. The class winner has to run the index or quicker, if they don't no class win. Its ''Way Cool'' to see and race cars that are different. A plus, is if you not fast enough to ''get in'' on qualifying, a class win it's your last chance to make the ''Show'' Ask James Perrone how it feels to get in the ''Show'' on his last chance, and his reward for the class win...........,he and Joe got to pull a piston. Hey it's Indy |
