Those heads were over the counter only, I think that the best factory installed head was the vette 350 L78 aluminum head that I believe is an angle plug head.

There was a head casting in 1968 that also had 292 as the last three digits, but it is not the "turbo head" that was released over the counter in the 1970s. It was the same as the 291 casting that year.
