Default Ignition box suggestions

Looking to see what ignition box guys are using for
a stocker. We have a BBC stocker . Having a intermittent
Problem of the ignition dying . Looks like the MSD digital 7 is
Illegal for stock? Like being able to program timing retard
For bracket racing. Is the MSD grid system my only choice?
The 7530t is no longer made and looking for a replacement
New to stock class racing
Thanks
David

Using a 7AL3 LT1 with crank trigger and optispark. No problems so far.

I run a Grid in my Stocker and absolutely love it.
Several others, in our group, are also using it with no issues.

You won’t be disappointed with the grid I have three of them
I would suggest to use the black box with the controller they were meant to be together
Most of the trouble I hear with them is that people get in there and try to do too much they get lost or have the safety run feature on
I just keep it simple and have no problems in the last four or so years with it

I run the grid in my car as well. The only issue I've had was the shift light not coming on correctly but that was a user error not a product issue. I'm really happy with it and will be replacing the 7AL with a Grid in the other car this winter.
