I would like to know.
The Cars that were no shows, never made a run down the track at BG but were placed higher on the sheet than some cars that made qualifying run and were DQed for fuel or weight. How does that work? If you look at the qualifying sheet you see somebody made up some "Official" times or were they just phoned in. What happened to the enforcement of the rule that the car had to fit the class to get a grade point? If the race director is going to add the late arrivals to tha bottom of the sheets there should be some type of order. Like number 87 entry arrived before number 88 and so on, not this made up stuff mess. So now if I need grade points I can double enter the races one in D7 and the other in D1 on the same weekend. Then stay home and pay for the entry fee in fuel savings by not traveling. I belive this can of worms needs to have the top put back on it. |

I am new to the class racing. But wasn't the old rule was
You had to enter and have to car tech. ( car had to fit class ) But you didn't have to make a run to get your grading point Now that we are doing on-line tech , could this issue be a loop Hole that people are taking advantage of ? David |

From NHRA Competition 6/15/2020
For a Participant to enter a Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series or National Open event and receive a grade point. The Driver and vehicle must be present at the event. The car at the event must be legal for the class being entered. Any abuse of this system will constitute the forfeiture of entry and grade point. No refunds or exchanges when entry is purchased online and not showing at event. |

Will they also get First Round loser points? Much easier to stay home and lose 1st round than drive all the way there to lose First Round.
It is beyond me how somebody can be on a qualifying sheet when they aren't even physically on the property. |

It’s in the rule book if you don’t weigh in you get DQed from the event. This obviously only applies if you’re actually at the race. A bigger deal to me than the grade points is that there’s people getting singles that should’ve raced 1st round and the ladder was a complete BS ladder. |

I raced one of those competition singles and wasn't happy.
Look what that does to the entire Ladder |
