The parking staff worked until after the sun went down. Thank you. In my opinion more assets, people, would have made parking more palatable.
It is what it is. I hope NHRA will be like us racers with our cars, always looking at ways to improve and make it faster. |

The new model, likely a future Harvard Business School Case Study is determining just how inelastic the classracers demand for racing truly is.....Keep cutting until the demand goes down. Tech, car counts, haven't seemed to affect demand, BUT applying the same method to parking, thats where things get dicey and risky. Case in point, of perhaps cutting too much, would be Dyer, he wins class every year with his Cobra Jet, wins that trophy and checks that make the week free for him, good business for him, he now stays home. How many wives and girlfriends that were in the line to park last year put their foot down and said, never again? Loved ones for the most part come to support their addicted family members, and don't care about tech, quotas, etc. but they do wonder where the staff is while waiting to get pitted, and clearly notice that on race day, somehow staff is on hand to park the fans...... Heard in the pits last year: " I've passed kidney stones that were more pleasant than getting parked" Ouch Eric

In spite of the issues there are 891 entries there. Should be a great weekend.

If people could have enough courtesy to stay in line we would be parked a lot quicker.
Not naming names but AH guys don't think they need to wait like the rest of us. |
