I have been getting quite a few phone calls from racers asking me about the present condition of the pit area at Ennis for the points race this weekend. Most of them are worried that if they come in Friday afternoon they may not get to park, and with fuel prices this is a major concern for some of them. So does anyone have any positive information on this matter? With all the rain we have been getting I can't imagine being able to park in the fields.

I've been trying to watch the radar screen and it seems that most of the moisture that has fallen has been north of Ennis. I'm not saying they haven't gotten any rain, but it sure doesn't look like they've had that much fall around the area of the track. The radar screen right now shows rain north of Dallas, and moving further north towards Oklahoma and Missouri. Might make my travel tomorrow a little interesting........

I just talked with Hutchinson as I am about to leave for my 2 1/2 hr. drive up there. It stormed pretty good last night. It is wet. However, they are craming people on the hard stuff, and he feels confident that there will be no problems.
