My fast xfi 2.0 has a internal data logger. Right now the recording only last about 22 seconds. How can I make it record longer. Sometimes if me or the other car is slow to stage I run out of time on the data logger and it stops recording. How can I ad more time to the recording? Thanks in advance.

There is a way to set it to only trigger at 50% throttle. I have an on/off switch for the logger, but it isn’t beginning to log until I deck it. Then I flip the switch off after the finish line.

Sometimes if I forget to turn the switch off I will loose the data for that run.

I don't have the manual in hand but there is a setting for run time. Mine is set foe a minute but I switch off after finish line.

If you are going to trigger the data logger that early where you run out at 22 seconds then you have too many channels recording and it is probably at the highest resolution. Mine is triggered by the two step and 80% throttle position. Check the dashboard you are using for the logger and get rid of a few that you might not need.

Thanks for the reply Bobby. I manually trigger my data logger before I stage or my opponent stages. I have 14 parameters that I am logging. I figured out if I go to 15 hz instead of 20 hz on data logger speed I can get another 6 seconds of recording time. I am pretty sure that will cover it and still have good enough data info. Having 22 seconds is usually enough but sometimes circumstances makes it take a little longer to stage. And my recording will run out about 2 seconds before I get to the finish line. I enjoy your interviews and really like your Tuesday shows. Keep up good work.
