I'm not surprised that a guy that's been dead for almost 2 years and who hasn't posted for over 5 years gets dragged into this thread by a hater of his. Again, haters going to hate!
Meanwhile this chest pounder finished 44th in Division 7 this past season in the LODRS and only got lucky once getting to 2nd round! In 2023 he was a no show in stock eliminator and in 2022 he finished 51st, this time he got lucky twice getting to 2nd round! 2021 was another stellar season for this also ran and 1st round runner up finishing 50th and getting lucky once again to advance to the 2nd round! Ed Fernandez ain't here to defend himself so I'll will. This guy Gary Hampton has no business calling out anyone no mind a guy that passed 2 years ago. Yep his car his a turd and he's got no driving skills! Last edited by 1320racer; 01-12-2025 at 12:33 PM. |

Actually, if push comes to shove the first cars out, it should be Super Comp to prep the starting line, although now the Super Comp cars are before SS now which is good for us Super Stockers also

I'm sorry to know this Billy, because I was actually hoping to make Ed's acquaintance at Maple Grove last year. I may not have agreed with him on some things, but I admired Ed for racing a 14sec AMC Gremlin, which per whoever this other Ed is, would've been a "turd" racer too since his car as I recall was a sub 100mph car as well, so he's badmouthing Ed's Gremlin too!? Who is this guy?

I don't know either Gary, but I would love to bring him out of retirement, get him behind the wheel of his son's car for at least a day in early April at Vegas and watch the underside of his beautiful white Firebird in my rear view mirror and stare across into his eyes at the stripe.
And just possibly, you know maybe...show him how easy it is to beat a turtle. Or not. That is the mission anyway, but I am told he does not personally race himself. Will he take the wheel? Who knows... I'm just an old slow man...with a dying (And I really want to do so in the 1/8th mile where there really is no visible stripe), wish now to race Ed Bigly just for Switzerland and giggles and the pure fun of it in my slow turd. (He just spelled turtle wrong). I think this is exactly how grudge racing was born...back when we were all young. Lol. It was s h I t z not the the software switched it to of Switzerland. Lmao ***It is also exactly why and how Bracket Racing was created. So we could settle it driver to driver and not really car to car or wallet to wallet.

Stockers are sometimes first because it is the most fun you can have right after you get out of bed, and it sure beats getting up to go to work.
If it were up to me we would race at 10 PM once I am fully awake and the Sun has long gone down. But I am a nocturnal owl of a creature born on the wrong side of daylight.

You are not Buddy Martin and Kyle is not Ronnie Sox, so move on from the victim of your own creation. You are a nobody like most of us.
Deal with it Edward Bigley. |

Yes Ed I'm still here because I love this forum and it makes me sick that you have done your best to ruin it.
