I heard a RUMOR in INDY Today - Page 2

I mean not for nothing, I understand the 1,000 foot rule was put into place to slow the cars down and give them more shut down room but, hell even at 1,000 feet Tony Shoe went 318mph. As far as I am concerned if something goes wrong even at 1,000 feet at 318mph you only have an extra 320 feet to slow down which is not much if you have an out of control racecar. I think if they make all the shutdown areas like what they did in Indy and Dallas and NC then 1320 racing should be ok.

PS - Great Job Rock and if anyone did not see if, Rock got some TV time also. I think it was the Semi-finals of PS Bike and they were interviewing Steve Johnson and in the background comes the Rock's Dragster and you got a good 3 second side shot of the car.

as soon as I remember to bring my notes in I will post what was talked about in the meeting...

we did request that super street racers get divisional points at nationals...just so you guys know we were thinking about you....

I will be at ZMax in two weeks.....

oh yea.....I suck as a driver....Steve made a pretty good run against us...congrats to him....

seems unlikely Gary....but at least you get something for going to a national.....

I think you will see TS and TD at select nationals....before you see additional S/ST races....

Would be happy if TD and TS ran at all the divisionals in D1.

I used to go to the stands to watch Pro Stock every chance I got....... and then since I was already in the stands I would watch some Top Fuel and Funny Car, even though they are not my favorites....... now that they are only running to 1000 ft, I have no interest in watching them at all......... the Pro category now consists of Pro Stock and Pro Stock Bike........ Top Fuel and Funny Car are now in the BY THE WAY category........

BRING BACK 1320 RACING!!!........
